Actress Adunni Ade has ended the secrecy around the birth by disclosing that she gave birth to a daughter more than two years ago.
In a social media message on Sunday, the movie star revealed the news on her birthday.
She claimed that the trip was challenging and had quiet struggles that put her strength to the test.
She claimed that while she dealt with a more intimate situation, the world only saw one aspect of her.
She wrote: “Today, on my birthday, I’m finally sharing what we’ve protected for over two years.
“This wasn’t an easy journey. It came with silent battles, moments that tested me, and a strength I had to grow into. While the world saw one version of me, I was living something much deeper, much more personal”.
Ade said she and her partner chose to keep the birth private to protect their peace and enjoy the blessing without public attention.
“We chose privacy. Not because we owed anyone secrecy but because peace is priceless, and not everything good needs an audience. We wanted to enjoy our blessing”.
She stated that not every single mother fits public assumptions and not every blessing involves scandal.

“Not every single mother fits your assumptions. Not every story is scandal. Not every blessing comes with drama attached. God gave me mine. Fully. Peacefully. Intentionally. Not “another woman’s man”, all in the name of clicks”, she said.
She added that the child came after almost a decade and described the baby girl as an answered prayer and an intentional gift from God.
“A journey of almost a decade! Almighty blessed us with our first child together. Our baby girl, our answered prayer, my evidence that God still writes beautiful stories in His own time”.
Addressing speculation about her relationship, Ade said no home was broken in the process of having her child and that the relationship was based on love.
