Gospel singer Judikay has talked about a traumatic medical encounter she had in Canada while she was 34 weeks pregnant with her second kid.
The singer, whose true name is Judith Kanayo-Opara, claimed that allegations regarding her pregnant daughter were made during a routine scan.
She recalled that the sonographer told her the baby was not breathing, had no nose, and suggested a Down syndrome test during her daughter’s dedication ceremony.
She claimed that after calling her husband, he advised her to “tear the report” and stop doing additional testing.

In her words: “At 34 weeks, I traveled to Canada to have my baby, and I went for a scan. They said she did not have a nose and that I would need to do a Down syndrome test, and also that she was not breathing. I called my husband, and he said I should tear the report and that we were not going to do any test.”
The couple chose to pray and thank God for their child instead, and Judikay said her daughter was eventually delivered safely, though doctors found the umbilical cord had been wrapped around the baby’s neck twice in the womb.

The singer, who waited several years to welcome her second child with her husband, shared her testimony to reflect on the challenges she faced during pregnancy.
Well-known Nigerian stand-up comedian Bovi Ugboma has disclosed that he rejoices whenever a divorce occurs.
Speaking on a recent episode of The Moraya Show, Bovi clarified that he feels at least one spouse was going through challenging times in the marriage, which is why he welcomes divorces.
He claims that at least one of the parties feels relieved when such a marriage ends.
The comedian emphasised that divorce is preferable to unhealthy marriages.
“I celebrate when people get divorced because I feel it means one or both people were not breathing well in the marriage. I will not suffer anybody neither will I want anybody to suffer me,” he said.
