Actress Kate Henshaw discussed filming a bedroom scene with Daniel Etim-Effiong for Blood Sisters Season 2, highlighting the value of communication and professionalism on set.
Henshaw stated in an interview with Chude Jideonwo that she and Etim-Effiong discussed boundaries and comfort levels before filming.
She pointed out that the conversation made sure both actors were on the same page and capable of doing their parts well.
During the sequence and pre-shoot preparations, the actress acknowledged that she was nude.
She commended Etim Effiong for his respectful conduct, stating that he remained professional throughout the process.
Henshaw praised her co-star’s demeanour on set, describing him as respectful and focused while handling the sensitive scene.
“I had a conversation with Daniel about the s3x scene, ‘How far are you comfortable?’ And he said ‘Sis, no problem’. I was topless with him. At no point did Daniel get an erection, he’s a good boy”, she said.

Earlier in May, Kate Henshaw opened up about her fallout with colleague Genevieve Nnaji.
Appearing on the Tea with Tay podcast, Henshaw reflected on the end of their friendship, saying it faded quickly.
Henshaw, who could not identify the exact cause of the breakdown, stated they may have grown apart or that some level of mistrust existed, but she remains unsure of what happened.
“We grew apart. Maybe she had some kind of mistrust about me… I don’t know what happened. I don’t know what came over her, but I’ve moved on,” Henshaw said.
Both actresses are icons of Nollywood and have featured in several notable films since the late 1990s.
