Seasoned actress Kate Henshaw has opened up about her fallout with colleague Genevieve Nnaji.
Appearing on the Tea with Tay podcast, Henshaw reflected on the end of their friendship, saying it faded quickly.
Henshaw, who could not identify the exact cause of the breakdown, stated they may have grown apart or that some level of mistrust existed, but she remains unsure of what happened.
“We grew apart. Maybe she had some kind of mistrust about me… I don’t know what happened. I don’t know what came over her but I’ve moved on,” Henshaw said.
The actress did not give further details on when the fallout occurred.
Both actresses are icons of Nollywood and have featured in several notable films since the late 1990s.

In a heartfelt Instagram post on Sunday, Iyke expressed his deep admiration and past romantic feelings for Henshaw, reflecting on their early days together in Nollywood.
The actor recalled about how Kate supported him during his struggling days, giving him money for food and transport, and sharing audition tips yet always treated him like a younger brother, even though he had romantic feelings for her.
“You knew all that time I wanted to hit that,” Jim Iyke wrote bluntly in the emotional post, laced with profanity and nostalgia.
He further reflected on how their relationship became strained over time as fame took its toll.
According to him, by the time he and Kate shared an intimate moment, he had become “too wild and restless” to nurture anything meaningful.
Meanwhile, Nollywood actor Gideon Okeke felt the birthday post is both childish and disrespectful.
Taking to his social media account to react to the message, Okeke wrote and we quote;
”Somebody take a look at this motherf*kka over here. It’s the narcissistic effrontery for me. Such a bone head. I wonder who puts these people in check. It’s this kind of rubbish behavior that people condone, that gives the others people balls to be the actual Pr!cks they are in real life. Small boy talks anyhow in public. Turn”
