Aunty Ajara, a well-known small-sized actress from Nigeria, is dead.
Earlier on Thursday, February 5, 2026, the doctor informed Aunty Ajara’s family that she had passed away following a brief struggle with a liver-related ailment.
Ridwan Lazeez, the late actress’s older brother, thanked the public for their financial help after sharing the sad news in a widely shared video on social media.
Sharing the video on her Instagram page, Mama no Network wrote; “With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved actress, Aunty Ajara. She passed on overnight after a long and courageous battle with illness.

“During this difficult period, Ajara received immense love, prayers, and financial support from kind-hearted people across the world. We are deeply grateful to everyone who stood by her with prayers, contributions, encouragement, and compassion.

“At this moment, we kindly urge family, friends, and the general public to please stop sending money to the previously shared account, as it is no longer required. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family, loved ones, and everyone grieving this painful loss. May her soul rest in perfect peace”, she stated.
Ajara died a few days after many of her colleagues solicited financial support for her on the Internet.
