Veteran actress Shaffy Bello has caused controversy by giving young ladies unorthodox advice regarding commercial sex work.
The actress, who recently appeared on the Morayo Show, asserted that it is OK for women to work as prostitutes if it is necessary for their survival or other urgent requirements.
According to Bello, she encourages commercial sex workers to execute their jobs well and with respect rather than passing judgment on them.
But she cautioned that women who enter the sex industry because of urgent needs shouldn’t stay in it.

“If what you are doing now is being a ‘runs girl’ to make money, you don’t have to stay there. I understand it, I never judge. If you go be ash*wo, do am well. Do it well with respect and your full-chest.
“However, don’t stay there. If that is what you have to do right now to make a living.. Some girls are doing it because they need to feed mom, send their younger ones to school. I understand it. However, my darlings, don’t stay there,” she advised.

Actress Shaffy Bello has stated that she believes acting is the unique gift she has been given and that she does not feel pressured to pursue a career in film production.
When Bello appeared on the Morayo Brown Show, she clarified that acting was how she became well-known.
She emphasised that rather than pursuing roles that do not suit their skills, actors should discover and remain loyal to their unique calling.
“I am an actor. Every actor does not have to be a producer. I face my lane. I do what God asks me to do. And he asked me to have an impact,” she said.
Bello reflected on her journey to fame, noting that she once prayed to become widely known.
She said that after gaining the platform, she realised it came with significant pressure and responsibility.
