According to reports, renowned Nigerian businessman Linus Williams Ifejirika, also known as Blord, was transferred from a cell because of health issues.
This occurred two weeks after Blord was placed under 26 days of remand in Kuje jail by the Federal High Court in Abuja.
Blord was charged with several offences, including forgery and impersonating VeryDarkMan.
But VeryDarkMan revealed that Blord has been ill since April 6, 2026, in a post on his Instagram story.
He further shared a WhatsApp message alleging that Blord has been transferred from “Egypt 2” to segregation. “Egypt 2 na the Ajegunle part of Kuje prison where armed robbers and other criminals stay. They had to move him because he was sick.”
While mocking Sowore for not being able to secure Blord’s release, VeryDarkMan announced his willingness to “temper mercy.”
He also wrote on his story: “Sowore and his avengers don’t have power to bring Blord out and discontinue the case like he claimed. We are willing to temper mercy.”

Omoyele Sowore, a well-known human rights activist and former presidential candidate, accused VeryDarkMan and his attorney of tyranny and denounced the method and pace of Blord’s remand.
The contentious dispute between VeryDarkMan and Blord started in October 2025.
After Blord posted what he said was a “iPhone XR converted to iPhone 17 Pro Max,” which sold for almost ₦450,000, the debate started. After VeryDarkMan accused Blord of deceiving Nigerians by selling reconditioned phones at exorbitant costs, the claim quickly gained widespread attention.
According to VeryDarkMan, the gadgets are made in Chinese firms that repackage and resell older iPhone models. He criticised Blord’s deceitful marketing strategies and advised Nigerians to exercise caution while purchasing devices from internet sellers.
Blord responded by denying any wrongdoing and denouncing VeryDarkMan’s accusations as spiteful and unfounded. He maintained that his company is legal and charged VeryDarkMan with abusing his position to disparage prosperous individuals in an attempt to garner attention.
When privately recorded footage purportedly featuring VeryDarkMan appeared online, the dispute quickly transcended economic issues.
Blord was accused of offering ₦500,000 to obtain those clips, a claim he has not confirmed. VDM hit back, saying Blord was trying to divert public focus from his questionable business practices.
