Super Eagles forward Victor Boniface has deleted all his Instagram posts, leaving only a cryptic statement on his status.
This has left many worried and asking if the Bayer Leverkusen forward is fine after sharing the message.
The message reads:
> “Dear God,
I have no idea what’s happening in my life right now, but I just want to say thank You for being with me in my highs, and my lows. My life hasn’t always been easy, but one thing I know: You have never left my side.
You are my everything.”
Although Boniface is known for memes and cryptic posts, it has not gone to the extent of bringing down all his Instagram posts in that regard.
Despite being one of the early birds to resume training for the 2026/27 season with Bayer Leverkusen, Boniface has only played five minutes for the club against Union Berlin in the second Bundesliga game, where they triumphed 4-0.
He has also struggled with injuries, spending the latter part of last season on loan at Werder Bremen, where he made 11 appearances without scoring a goal.
At the national team level, he has also struggled to retain his place after making his debut in 2023. His last call-up by the Super Eagles was in June 2025, when the team faced Russia in a friendly game.
