Nigerian singer Folarin Falana, aka Falz, claims that his fight against the present administration has cost him some big deals
The musician revealed in his most recent interview with Arise 360 that a group protested about his crusade against Nigerian politics when they approached his management about collaborating.
However, he claimed that anyone who finds his campaign against poor governance problematic is contributing to the issues Nigerians face.

He asserted that he had never brought up the names of any politicians or political parties.
“The way I look at that is it was never meant for me. If you feel in any way attacked or feel like what I’m doing is in any way directed at you. Then maybe I don’t even want to be there, maybe I shouldn’t even be there, you know, but what I’m saying is the truth.

“I’m not single handedly picking at anyone to antagonize. What I’m speaking to is the practice and not even really the people in particular. I’ve mentioned no name, I’ve mentioned no political part or whatever. So, in fact what they do say when speaking with my manager was something political but this is absolutely zero affiliation. I’m just talking about what is going on. If you have a problem with them, then you are the problem”, the singer said.
In November 2025, Falz demanded a public hearing about the federal government’s inability to equip the military in spite of the enormous sums of money allocated for ammunition each year.
Falz made the statement while speaking on the nation’s security circumstances.
Describing the situation in the country as “a national security emergency”, the singer charged “every citizen to contact their Reps and senators with coordinated emails, phone calls and WhatsApp messages”.
Falz urged Nigerians to call for an emergency “public hearing to address the strategy to defeat terrorism, rumours of an ill-equipped military and how Nigerians will be kept safe”.
